I have often wondered why the developed world through the United Nations don’t do something to assist countries that are obviously being mis-managed.
Why you might ask are there so many people fleeing countries to seek a better life? Asylum seekers seem to come from Northern Africa, Eritrea, Somalia. from the Middle East, Syria , Iraq, Iran, from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka among others. What is wrong with these countries? And can we do something to help them?
What if there was a resolve from the United nations (and other bodies) to answer a call from the people of the countries to step in and help the majority of these people. Would it be a possibility to send an ultimatum to dictators and corrupt governments to get out and let a better team take over.
Time would be given to allow these so called leaders to ‘retire’ elsewhere with out hindrance. However, if there was a refusal then the international community would send in massive numbers of troops to oversee a rapid transition.
Of course the alternative government would have to have the blessing of the majority of the people and not be chosen by pseudo-colonial power for its own gain.
A transitional government would step in with the guidance of the United Nations who would stay to assist in establishing the type of government and democracy the majority of the people wanted.
I have had this thought for several years after being frustrated by the ineptitude of several governments in African countries and the absolutely cruelty shown to their own people and wondered why nothing was being done.
With the thoughts going out into the Universe I was delighted to come across “The Big Bang Project” a website and book by Luc Goulet. Luc expresses similar thoughts and offers his website as a basis for joining in and doing something. Check out he website ~ http://thebigbangproject.com/
